Nadia studied Law and Society at York University in Toronto and completed her Bachelor of Education in 2013 with a focus on English, Law and the Social Sciences. She then earned her Master’s degree in Socio-Legal Studies in 2014, where she published a major research paper entitled, "Citizenship Law, Exclusion and the Case of Deepan Budlakoti: Examining the Historical Development of the "Authentic" Canadian Citizen."
In 2014, Nadia founded 5tructure Inc. to better address students' individual learning needs. Nadia’s unique and holistic approach to teaching couples differentiated teaching strategies with coaching and mentoring services that help students master subject-specific content and develop necessary interpersonal, intrapersonal, and organizational skills. Nadia is a skilled motivator who believes that every student has the potential to learn, regardless of what abilities students may possess or lack.
Through active listening and one-on-one mentorship, 5tructure creates personalized learning plans that enable students of all abilities to equitably access the learning environment, while also instilling the will to win, building meaningful relationships, maximizing academic output, and fostering personal and professional growth.

Teachables: Math
Sabri graduated from Ryerson (Toronto Metropolitan) University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics and it’s Applications and minoring in Finance. Sabri’s passion for Math and Finance led to a career in the financial industry. From 2016 to 2021, Sabri worked at the Bank of Montreal, primarily as a financial advisor. Sabri worked with people aged 16 and up, to help establish financial goals, create a financial plan, and set checkpoints to monitor and reassess their financial plan. In his work, Sabri realized that building rapport and solid client relationships facilitated the success of his clients’ financial achievements. Sabri worked to create an inclusive environment with his clients where they felt comfortable to be honest about all of their financial habits.
In 2019, Sabri connected with a local Boys and Girls Club to help promote financial literacy within the community. Sabri led several Personal Finance Workshops with people aged 11 to 25. In these workshops, Sabri challenged and empowered the class with the financial knowledge to fortify their financial futures. With the Boys and Girls Club, Sabri also had the opportunity to participate in several workshops that engaged in anti-bullying, self-esteem building, and career planning as a mentor.
In 2021, Sabri applied and was accepted to York University’s Bachelor of Education program. Sabri chose to change career paths to pursue his passion for education and empowering youth. Sabri’s goal is to share his passion for mathematics and problem solving with the next generation. At the age of 8, Sabri unlocked his potential in mathematics and ever since, Sabri has been pursuing a deeper understanding of a variety of mathematical concepts ranging from algebra and calculus to number literacy and graph theory. Sabri believes that he has been equipped with the tools to promote young students' mathematical thinking. Sabri believes in supporting youth by creating a safe space for youth to explore their identity and to challenge their limitations. Sabri believes youth are the earliest indication of the possibilities for our world, and believes that it is a privilege to work with and mentor young people. Sabri’s goal is to help youth achieve their full potential by encouraging the development of healthy and strong academic, interpersonal, mental, and physical abilities.
Teachables: English, Literacy, French
Lael is a dedicated teacher candidate pursuing a comprehensive academic program at Trent University, specializing in a dual major encompassing French Studies and History. As an integral participant in the esteemed “Teacher Education Stream,” Lael has adeptly honed her pedagogical acumen, gaining invaluable insights from esteemed professionals in the field. Her academic journey has also been punctuated by immersive in-person placements, each term, thereby consolidating her practical expertise in teaching and learning.
From an early age, Lael exhibited a profound fascination with languages, a passion that ignited when she enrolled in the Extended French Program at the tender age of nine. Her journey as a Francophone as a Second Language (FSL) student has sensitized her to the myriad challenges associated with acquiring a second language, particularly when it is not spoken in one's familial environment.
Throughout her academic odyssey, Lael has astutely recognized the pivotal role that nurturing strong interpersonal relationships plays in the acquisition of a second language. This realization has become the cornerstone of her educational philosophy, propelling her toward a career dedicated to supporting and guiding students on their own language-learning expeditions. Her unwavering commitment to lifelong learning is a testament to her passion, and she aspires to further refine her linguistic proficiency by fostering a welcoming and inclusive educational milieu where students are empowered to realize their full linguistic potential.
