French

As an official language of Canada, French is an integral part of a students’ learning journey. Even though French is known to be one of the most difficult languages to grasp, the 5tructure approach includes ensuring students enjoy the grammar, speaking, reading and writing processes, and make lessons relatable to real life experiences. 

The natural way we, as a society, have learned how to incorporate language as a baby was to listen, watch and copy the sounds of the people around us. This is the same approach 5tructure uses to teach French. 5tructure builds the foundation of French language skills, starting with vocabulary enrichment, practising speaking and listening, and then moving forward into grammar and sentence structure. 

5tructure creates individualized learning plans that focus on the specific needs and skills of each student. Learning a new language does not have to be an uphill battle. We, at 5tructure, believe that learning a new language should be joyful and exciting, and that lessons should be structured and tailored to instill the structure necessary for students to have the confidence to use their French skills in everyday life.
